Phil works in Frontier’s financial services practice, advising organisations on transfer pricing, competition, and regulatory issues.
His work involves financial dispute and litigation support, advising on damages estimation and advising tax authorities and taxpayers on global transfer pricing matters. Recent cases have involved work in sectors including pharmaceuticals, banking, insurance, financial data, gaming, software, energy trading, mining, and FMCG.
He also advises clients in the financial services sector on commercial, public policy and regulatory issues, including investigations by sector and competition regulators. Recent work has focussed on Consumer Duty design and implementation, consumer fairness, competition in retail banking product markets, and Open Banking implementation.
Before joining Frontier, Phil worked for the Government Economic Service. Phil holds an MSc from University College London.
